What types and sizes of clips/barrettes do you offer for your hair bows? TOP
All of our hair bows offer clip sizes that compliment that size hair bow. Within those choices you can choose what size barrette you need for your child or if you prefer an alligator clip. We carry the following:
Alligator clips, 1.5" French Barrette, 2" French Barrette, 2.25" French Barrette and 2.75" French Barrette.
** Please note that some of our hair accessories are attached to a Pony O'.**
How do I know if I should choose an alligator clip or a french barrette? TOP
Alligator clips are used primarily for babies and/or toddlers that do not have much hair or fine hair. For the baby headbands you will want all of your hair bows attached to an alligator clip as they will easily slip into the strap within the baby headband. For babies/toddlers that have enough hair for ponytails you can insert the alligator clip into the pony tail holder and it holds that way. Once your toddler has thicker hair, the alligator clip may not hold properly within the pony tail holder any longer and it will be time for hair bows with barrettes!
French Barrettes are used primarily for toddlers and big girls that have enough hair to hold them in securely. Due to the fact that we carry many sizes of french barrettes you will not be disappointed in the stability of your hair bow!
**Please note that you will receive an instruction card with your purchase of your hair bows on how to properly wear our hair bows so they will stay securely all day long**
My daughter has very little hair and it is fine as well. What do you offer that will work in her hair? TOP
There are two options.
Our headbands are perfect for babies and toddlers that don't yet have enough hair to hold a hair bow. Just be sure and select an alligator clip when choosing your clip style for the hair bows you order. The alligator clip with easily slide in the headband strap.
The second option is if your baby or toddler has enough hair for a pony tail holder you can slip any of our hair bows that are attached to an alligator clip into the pony tail holder for a secure hold.
What size hair bow is the right hair bow for my child? TOP
This really is a preference on what you like. Since all of the sizes are listed for each and every hair bow we carry, you can measure her head and/or visualize what they would look like on her head. An example is my 3 1/2 year old primary wears two 3.5" - 4" hair bows and with her sides pulled back. Someone else though may not like them that big so will order the 2.5" hair bow. Again, this is entirely up to you!
